Wroclaw School of Banking

Summer School of Entrepreneurship 2011

This year, like every summer, we had the opportunity to host the fantastic delegation from Ukraine. Students representing National Mining University of Dniepropietrovsk, Institute of Economics and students from Wroclaw School of Banking together took part in Summer School of Entepreneurship between 14th-21st July 2011.
The main idea of this year’s edition was “The challenges for young managers on international labor market”. The main orientation of the project was laid on creating students’ entrepreneurship by using active forms of learning - games, exercises and simulations.
The first integration and tourist part of the project was organised in Karpacz- the capital of Karkonosze mountains. During four days students had the opportunity to integrate while climbing Sniezka peak, visiting main monuments in Lower Silesia and taking part in interesting competitions. They were also discussing their chances and opportunities on international labor market.
In Wroclaw students participated in team management exercises which were the simulation of real business situations and behaviours. Participation in the project allowed students to deepen knowledge of project management as well as improve their intercultural and communicational skills, which are essential abilities on international labor market.
