International Business Projects

Students from Wroclaw School of Banking participated in two Business Weeks between 28th March and 1st April 2011.

One of them was organized by Vysoká škola polytechnická in Jihlava. The main topic of the event was „Leasing”. Students in international groups had to compare three countries and answer a question where the best place to start a business would be and if it is better to lease or to get a loan there. Business Week participants had also the opportunity to visit two companies: Automotive Lighting and Sapeli in Jihlava. Additional attraction was an interesting culture programme. In Třebíč they visited Jewish Quarter and St Procopius' Basilica, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They were also sightseeing Telč with its 17th century Renaissance castle, an English-style park and unique town square.

At the same time different group of students spent Business Week in Riga. They were working on projects from Banking and Marketing field. Beside workshops, participants took part
in integration programme which included: City Game, bowling and clubbing.

During an academic year our students have an opportunity to participate in a few Business Weeks organized by our partner universities. It is always a great experience to visit a new country, meet interesting young people from different nations and explore new areas
