Facilities

WSB facilities are modern and equipped with various support infrastructures for students and lectures. Classes are held in four  buildings specially designed and built for teaching purposes. The school’s premises are situated in Wrocław, ul. Fabryczna 29-31. The campus consists of buildings whose total area is 6000m2. The building houses school authorities offices, one modern lecture theatre seating 300 people and the second seating 170 people, faculty office, department offices and school administration rooms. Classes are held in lecture rooms, foreign language rooms and seminar rooms, some of which are fitted with audio-visual equipment.
At students’ disposal are computer facilities with access to Extranet and the Internet, a library and a reading room, a photocopy shop, a bookshop, a bar and a shop, a cloakroom, offices of the student government and the sport association AZS. There is also a big car park nearby.

Library
The school has its own library, whose collection amounts to 44,000 volumes. It is one of the biggest libraries among non-public schools of higher education in Poland, offering the latest economic literature. Books are lent to take home or to use in the reading room. Every student can borrow books while they are pursuing their studies without charge and the money saved up in this way can be further invested in their education.
The library guarantees constant access to nearly 50 titles of Polish and foreign professional magazines. Apart from traditional collections, the library contains multimedia materials – electronic databases, e.g. news and legal bulletins “Legalis” and “Europrawnik”, e-magazines and news-bibliographical bases. The library is equipped with IT catalogues and on-line catalogue access to other libraries, in the reading room you will find separate computer stands with access to the Internet.

IT resources
In Wroclaw WSB building there are four computer rooms. Each is equipped with 16 to 19 computers. These computers work in the network, have quick access to the Internet through fibre-optic cable. The school uses computer rooms to give classes in:

  • Computer Basics, i.e. learning about Microsoft products such as Word or Excel,
  • Understanding IT application in individual specialisations e.g. Banking, Accounting,
  • Other subjects such as Statistics or Financial Analysis.

Extranet
Extranet is an internal Internet service whose aim is to simplify information flow. It helps to maintain contact with the School from any place in the world. Extranet enables to check grades during all course of studies, timetables and schedules and look through job offers prepared by the Career Advice Bureau. Students may use recources placed there by teachers, a catalogue of diploma works, bibliography, and the WSB library catalogue.
